El Mirador del Fito is one of the most privileged and it is reached either from Arriondas or from Colunga is one of the most visited viewpoints and beautiful Asturias.
The viewpoint is a concrete structure that rises above the ground and aims to get better views of the place if possible. The narrow road to the viewpoint has been held since 1977, rising to international automotive Fito.
From the lookout, and a really clear day, you can see the North: the Bay of Biscay, Ribadesella, Caravia, Colunga and Villaviciosa. To the south: the municipalities of Parres, Cangas de Onis and Covadoga and bottom: the imposing peaks of Europe and much of the Cantabrian Mountains.
